Cheryl A Hayes, D.O.
Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Specialist (Physiatrist), and Medical Director of CORE Injury Management
My goal in medicine is to compassionately provide full-spectrum assessment and care of acute and chronic musculoskeletal and neurologic injury and disease. My perspective and approach to providing health care considers the patient as a unified whole, where an injury or condition in one area of the body can affect, and be affected by, other parts of the body that may be asymptomatic. Effective treatment thus considers all parts of the body under a holistic model of care. In addition to musculoskeletal injury care, I provide electrodiagnostic exams, treatment of acute and chronic pain conditions, ultrasound-directed diagnostic assessment and regenerative medical procedures, Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, and forensic assessments. I am skilled in specific treatments for both spasticity and migraine headaches. I am also skilled in Intramuscular stimulation and trigger point injections. I have earned additional certifications in Pain Management and in Disability & Impairment rating. I am dually certified by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, as well as the American Osteopathic College of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and have maintained the requirements of this certification since September 1990.
